Portals to the Soul:

Astrology and the Akashic Records Class

 Course Overview:

This twelve-week course brings together the technical, historical, and intuitive dimensions of astrology. Students will learn the skills needed to read charts with confidence, including planetary motion, aspects, and house systems. Astronomy and history provide a solid foundation, while Sabian Symbols, asteroids, and lunar cycles open new ways of seeing. Training in the Akashic Records adds direct intuitive guidance, giving each chart a living voice.

The Akashic Records are understood as a field of consciousness that holds the memory of every soul, event, and possibility. They are often described as a library or a vibrational archive that can be accessed for insight and healing. In this course, you will be guided in safe and ethical practices to open the Records for your own chart and for collective themes. Through meditation, prayer, and focused intention, you will learn how to invite this field of wisdom into your astrological work. The Records will help illuminate the meaning behind planetary placements, uncover karmic stories shown by the Nodes, and provide clarity on the soul’s direction.

To truly ground this study, we will weave in creative and embodied practices. Each week includes a short haiku practice to distill the essence of astrological energies into clear, poetic form. These haiku are not just words, but keys to memory and insight. We will also use embodiment exercises—simple movements, breath practices, or guided visualizations—that allow students to feel the planetary archetypes in their own bodies. In this way the chart is not only studied on paper, it is lived and remembered through the senses.

By the end of twelve weeks, students will have both technical skill and intuitive depth. They will understand astrology as a discipline of history and astronomy, as a symbolic language, and as a living practice that can be felt, written, and embodied. They will also carry a personal method for accessing the Akashic Records as a source of guidance, so that their chart work continues to grow long after the course ends.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to know astrology before taking this course?
A: No. We begin with the fundamentals of chart reading and gradually build into more advanced layers. Beginners will feel supported, and those with experience will discover new techniques and perspectives.

Q: What exactly are the Akashic Records?
A: The Akashic Records are described as a vibrational field that contains the memory and wisdom of every soul and every possibility. Many traditions refer to it as a library or archive of consciousness. In this course you will learn how to safely and ethically access the Records through guided methods. You will then use that wisdom to add depth and soul perspective to your astrology practice.

Q: How will the Akashic Records be used with astrology?
A: We will use the Records to illuminate planetary placements, give voice to Sabian Symbols, uncover karmic patterns through the Nodes, and receive guidance for timing and transits. Students will learn how to open the Records for themselves and how to invite this field of wisdom into their astrological interpretations.

Q: What makes this course different from other astrology trainings?
A: Along with chart reading skills, we integrate astronomy, history, Sabian Symbols, asteroids, and lunar cycles. The addition of Akashic Records training, weekly haiku practice, and embodiment exercises makes this course unique. It is designed to help you not only think about astrology, but also feel it in your body and express it through creative practice.

Q: What are the Sabian Symbols, and why are they important?
A: The Sabian Symbols are 360 images, one for each degree of the zodiac, received by clairvoyant Elsie Wheeler in 1925. They provide a poetic lens that can unlock hidden meaning in charts. In this course you will learn how to use the Symbols as keys for both interpretation and Akashic exploration.

Q: What role do haiku and embodiment play?
A: Haiku distills astrological themes into short, vivid poems that capture energy in a memorable way. Embodiment exercises allow you to feel planetary and archetypal energies in your body through movement, breath, or visualization. Together, these practices ground your learning and make astrology a lived experience.

Q: How much time will I need to commit each week?
A: Each weekly session lasts two hours. Outside of class, plan on 1–2 hours for journaling, chart practice, haiku, and embodiment work.

Q: What will I be able to do by the end of the course?
A: You will be able to read natal charts with confidence, integrate Sabian Symbols and asteroids, track lunar cycles and transits, and access the Akashic Records for insight. You will also have personal creative and embodied practices to keep deepening your connection to astrology long after the course ends.

Q: Who is this course for?
A: This course is for seekers, students of astrology, healers, creatives, and anyone curious about weaving technical skill with intuitive depth. It welcomes both beginners and those with experience who want to expand into new ways of working with astrology and the Akashic field.
